You recently received a letter from Western Power advising you that you are required to complete an identification check and provide information via the cited.com.au website.

The page below provides you with information to help you get started with the check.

Before you start you will need:

  • An email address
  • A mobile number
  • Identity Documents
  • Tax File Number (TFN)
  • Superannuation Fund Details
  • Bank Account Details

Email Address and Mobile Number

Make sure you have a valid email address and a mobile number. You will need both of these to complete the process.

If you don’t have a valid email address, you can create one through your choice of email provider.

Identity Documents

As part of the identity checking process, you will be asked to present current and valid identity documents. For example, a driver’s licence, passport etc.

Depending on which documents you have, you will need a minimum of 2 documents to a maximum of 3 documents.

The combination of documents must include:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Photo ID
